Your privacy
Short version: this website doesn’t store anything you type, uses no cookies and has no tracking. Your enquiry only reaches me when you choose to send it.
Who I am
Sweet Changes Bakery is a home-based bakery in Stanmore, and is the data controller for the information you send. You can contact me on WhatsApp using the button on this site.
What the enquiry form collects, and how
The form asks for your name, phone/WhatsApp number, what you’d like, the occasion, date, collection or delivery (and delivery postcode), allergies or dietary needs, and any details you add.
The form runs entirely in your browser. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp (or your email app) with your message ready for you to check and send. Nothing is sent to or saved on this website.
Why I use it
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote | Steps you’ve asked for before entering a contract |
| Making, collecting or delivering your order | Contract |
| Allergy and dietary information, so your bake is safe | Your explicit consent, given when you share it. Health information is “special category” data, used only for this purpose. |
Who sees it
Only me. Messages travel through the service you choose: WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider, under their own privacy terms. I don’t sell or share your details, and I don’t use them for marketing unless you ask.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and order messages for 24 months after your order, then delete them. Records needed for accounts are kept for as long as the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, adverts or embedded social media. Fonts and images are served from this website itself. Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) may briefly process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or withdraw consent for allergy information, at any time by messaging me. If you’re unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
